Privacy Policy

WallpaperPro is operated by Stormbox LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- App usage data needed to deliver wallpapers, favorites, and unlock progress.
- First-party Feed personalization data such as onboarding interests, qualified wallpaper views, likes, favorites, downloads, hides, and “show fewer” feedback used to recommend relevant wallpapers.
- Purchase status for Premium via Apple when you subscribe.
- Optional launch notification emails if you join the waitlist.
- Optional Apple Push Notification device tokens, tied to an anonymous guest ID, if you enable notifications in the app.
- Technical data such as device and network information for reliability and abuse prevention.
- Product analytics described in “Product analytics (PostHog)” below.
How we use information
We use information to operate WallpaperPro, personalize discovery, improve the catalog, process Premium access, prevent abuse, send launch updates you request, understand how the app is used, and deliver optional in-app push notifications (new drops, discovery highlights, and reminders) according to your preferences. Feed activity is used only for WallpaperPro functionality, personalization, security, and product analytics. We do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information.
Product analytics (PostHog)
We use PostHog (PostHog Inc.) as a service provider to measure how WallpaperPro is used — for example which screens people open, whether onboarding and Sign in with Apple complete, paywall and purchase funnels, wallpaper categories people browse, and whether AI generation is working. Stormbox LLC remains the controller of this information. PostHog processes it on our behalf under PostHog’s privacy policy.
Events we send may include screen and funnel names, wallpaper and category identifiers, paywall trigger, subscription or credit product IDs, generation identifiers, credit amounts, our estimated generation cost, coarse device class, iOS version, locale, app version, and an opaque WallpaperPro account ID after you sign in. Before sign-in, PostHog uses its own anonymous identifier. Signing out resets that analytics identity.
We also enable PostHog session replay so we can see how the app is used on a sample of sessions. Replay uses screenshots of the WallpaperPro interface. Text fields are masked before they leave the device. We do not capture network request bodies or headers. Wallpaper images in the app may appear in a replay because the product is a wallpaper catalog.
We do not send passwords, Sign in with Apple tokens, email addresses, display names, payment card details, Apple payment sheets, raw AI prompts, photos from your library, or precise location to PostHog. We do not use PostHog to show ads, to retarget you, or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. PostHog does not sell our users’ data.
This analytics data is processed on PostHog Cloud in the United States. PostHog may use trusted infrastructure subprocessors listed at posthog.com/subprocessors. PostHog participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See PostHog’s policy for international transfers, retention, and your rights as they apply to PostHog’s own processing.
Your choices
You can edit interests, hide wallpapers, request fewer similar recommendations, reset Feed personalization/history in Settings, or delete your account. Account deletion removes or anonymizes associated Feed personalization state according to our retention practices, and we stop associating new analytics with that account. You can also email support@wallpaperpro.app with privacy questions or requests.
Bot protection
The WallpaperPro website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from bots on forms such as the launch waitlist. Cloudflare processes limited technical signals for that purpose. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We use infrastructure and product providers to run WallpaperPro: Cloudflare hosts the service and website; Apple processes App Store purchases and Sign in with Apple; PostHog processes product analytics and session replay as described above. Those providers may only use the information as needed to provide their services to us, except as described in their own policies.
